‘Aughrim Trust’ is an informal grouping of a handful of people fighting a rearguard action to delay development so that, when the authorities come to their senses there will be something left to preserve. Our main tactic is to watch out for planning applications and to object where appropriate. At present one such objection has been appealed to An Bord Pleanalá. This costs money.
